What security measures does Scratch-it take?

Keeping our customers' data secure is very important to Scratch-it. We go to considerable lengths to ensure that all data sent to Scratch-it is handled securely.  Below is a detailed list of the ways we constantly ensure the security of your data. From time to time, we will add more information to this page. For your convenience, we’ve linked to our terms of use and privacy policy. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@scratch-it.com.

1. Experienced Developers

Our team includes highly experienced professionals who've played lead roles in designing, building and operating extremely secure Internet facing systems, such as payment processing platforms, cloud services, and security portals.

2. Data Hosting

Much of our data is hosted in Amazon Web Services facilities in the USA. Further details about the strength and measures of Amazon security, facilities and services can be found at: https://aws.amazon.com/security/ https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/.

In addition we use https/ssl to transfer all your data and all sensitive data is filtered and encrypted.

3. Strictly Adhere to Guidelines

a) We only engage with well-regarded third-party vendors. We always work with them to resolve potential issues.

b) We’ve implemented a host of security practices, such as codeclimate, to catch any attack vectors coming from code. We also use state of the art, secure hosting platforms in AWS as well as Heroku to constantly watch  over our infrastructure. Continuous integration and application monitoring allows us to do ad-hoc security analysis, track changes made to our setup and audit access to every layer of our stack.

c) We do not store payment details.
